ServiceNow’s next major ‘family’ release is right around the corner. Expected to land in November 2026 (General Availability), Brazil promises a wealth of new platform capabilities, patch releases, and hot fixes.
As well as key dates and milestones, we have details to share about the second Developer Passport initiative – a week of live demos and Q&As hosted by product experts, built around the most exciting parts of the ServiceNow Brazil release.
ServiceNow Brazil Release Key Dates
Following Australia in Q2, Brazil is the second of ServiceNow’s alphabetical run of country-themed releases – the city version wrapped last year with Zurich in Q4.
Let’s remind ourselves of those key dates as we navigate the world of Brazil:
- August: Early Release Program registration
- Customers may wish to check out these useful FAQs.
- September:
- September 10: Release Testing Preview and preliminary release notes.
- Mid-September: Early Availability, live ‘Developer Passport’ technical sessions, and complete release notes.
- November: General Availability.
Early Release Program
As the name suggests, this two-part program gives existing customers the option to upgrade early to a version of the latest family release – a useful opportunity to try out and test new features in their own environment before market launch (GA).
Phase 1 is Release Testing Preview (RTP), which is available at least 60 days prior to General Availability and offers a pre-release version for testing on sub-production instances.
Phase 2 refers to Early Availability (EA), which is available at least 45 days prior to General Availability and offers a production-ready version for upgrade on both sub-production and production environments.
General Availability (GA)
Marking the official end of EA and the early testing phases, GA refers to the final version of the release, with production upgrades made widely available to all customers. For the Brazil release, this is expected to happen in November 2026.

The Developer Passport Returns
Following the success of ServiceNow’s inaugural program earlier this year, the Developer Passport is back for Brazil – a week of practical demos, feature deep dives, and Q&As with product experts, including Senior Developer Advocate Lauren McManamon, who shared her excitement on LinkedIn.
