Knowledge 2025: Attendees’ Top Sessions

By Lauren Westwood

ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2025 conference wrapped up on Thursday, May 8, after three days of exciting announcements, hands-on learning opportunities, and energizing conversations.

The NowBen team had a great time exploring the expo and connecting with the community, but what did everyone else think? From builders to business analysts, here are some of the attendees’ top sessions… What did they enjoy most and why?

Ask the Experts

“It’s been a great time here. I think my favorite session was ‘Ask the Experts’ where you get to interact and talk to the project managers and some of the leaders on the products. That’s been very helpful – being able to directly give my feedback.

“I didn’t have much prepared, but sitting in the session and hearing everybody else ask questions was very informative and inspiring. It’s been great and I can’t wait to come back next year.”

Andrew Zschetzsche – Developer (second time at Knowledge)

CreatorCon

“K25 was my first time at Knowledge, and it exceeded all expectations! After five years of mostly remote work, connecting in person with coworkers and clients was a major highlight. As for the sessions, CreatorCon stole the show. Personalized AI superhero cards sparked conversations, and UX visualization boards led to thoughtful discussions.

The Community Garden (plants + UIB) was incredibly innovative, and the workflow-powered CNC machines and liquor bot were genius. At the Configuration Supermarket, norms were challenged and perspectives shifted. Everyone I met was incredible. I consumed so much information that my brain was on fire they call it ‘Knowledge’ for a reason!”

Tilla Cunha – Solutions Architect (first time at Knowledge)

Roundtables

“I think the roundtable sessions were really good. The 360 experiences where you get to sit down with other people that came to Knowledge, and you get to talk one-on-one with each of these people. And then you have a product manager or a ServiceNow expert in the room to keep you on track. I think those have been super useful.

“There’s a lot of agentic AI – they push that a lot, no matter what area you’re in within ServiceNow, they’ve got an AI agent that might be able to help you and make things easier for you.”

Will Oliver – CMDB Discovery Admin

Roadmap

“For me, I would say the top session was – I’m in the ITSM space – the ITSM upcoming roadmap – I really enjoyed being able to see what new features are going to be coming out, what we’ll be able to utilize, and how that might help us. But then, as well, with the whole agentic AI focus of everything, I’ve really enjoyed a few sessions that I’ve gone to of customers that have newly switched over to using some of the AI stuff because, as an organization, that’s the path that we’re looking towards going down.

“It’s really been interesting to see their experience, their trials and tribulations, and then build a roadmap in my head of, if we were to do this, how would we go about it? What might be important? What do we want to focus on first, etc.? So I think that those new adopters have been the real stand-out for me.”

“I am extraordinarily impressed, to be honest, by how nice everything is, how many people are here, how many different booths and sessions they have.”

Zack Buros – IT Analyst (first time at Knowledge)

Labs

“I also liked the 360 roundtables, the roadmaps were good too, and the labs, right? Especially with the agentic AI, since that’s not in PDIs (personal developer instance) yet, the opportunity to actually do a lab and get hands-on with it was nice. They made it nice and short and easy to follow – so you blast through it in 15 minutes. That was pretty cool.”

Steven Espinoza – IRM Architect (fourth time at Knowledge)

Hackathon

“I thought it was pretty fun. We met up with people we’ve never met before, got to network – we got on the same team together. We had three partners. They had four different categories. We chose a category that was beginner friendly because we’ve barely used ServiceNow. But one of our teammates, I think he’s used ServiceNow for 15 years, so he was more experienced – he kind of led our team.

“We really loved our idea. I thought we did great. We’ll find out who wins here in an hour. (Spoiler – they won!) We took breaks. They had pizza! After the conference closed at 6:00 PM, we stayed here until midnight!”

Nick Hoover – student (first time at Knowledge)

“First, I’ll say the problem we identified and how we solved it to tell you what we made. The problem was, we have all these people that are wanting to participate in the hackathon, so they need to find a way to make a story to say: OK, this is what I want to solve myself. And then what plugins I’m going to use, what tools I’m going to implement…

So, we spent two hours trying to figure out what tools to use. Why don’t we create a way for people to just type in a prompt, right? Using the AI agents and saying, I want something that can do this, this, and this. And I’ll recommend a set of tools and plugins to use. So it eliminates that drag time you spend so you can really go in-depth on your ideas.”

Olubunmi Joseph – student (first time at Knowledge)

Workflows for Finance and Supply Chain

“I think for us, just because we’re so new and just now getting into it, what we really took from this is more being able to roadmap a technology plan. We’re not going to be able to take what we learned on this trip and apply it tomorrow, but what’s cool is it gives us an idea of how we can mature what we’re building right now.

“Workflows for Finance and Supply Chain was a session that I think was the most useful for us. Just to see a roadmap and see what we can do in the future.

“It’s really good. I think building the intake is something a lot of people are dealing with too, just from what we’re seeing around here. People are trying to figure out how to take in the work and then make sense of it, report on its status – it’s interesting. It’s great though, this is really well organized. They did a good job.”

Brianna Schrum and Jenny Richards – Procurement Compliance Program Administrators (first time at Knowledge)

Final Thoughts

From veteran attendees to first-timers, there was a real mix at this year’s Knowledge conference, and a palpable sense of excitement – especially around the focus on AI and community.

Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences with us. Hope to see you all next year!
