Knowledge 2025 Wrap Up: All the Key ServiceNow News

By Henry Martin

Knowledge 2025 is now over, providing plenty of news for the ServiceNow community to talk about.

The event was held at The Venetian Resort and Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada between May 6 and May 8, with around 25,000 attendees descending to talk about all things ServiceNow. Here’s a quick roundup of the three-day event for those who may have missed it.

Knowledge 2025, Day 1: Tuesday, May 6

The conference kicked off in style with ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott delivering the opening keynote address.

Artificial intelligence was a consistent theme at the conference, with McDermott telling attendees that AI was the “gateway to prosperity”.

“The new world order of things is AI, plus data, plus workflows, on one fully integrated platform that replaces all of the chaos with clarity,” he told the conference.

A range of new ServiceNow offerings, including AI Control Tower, AI Agent Fabric, and Apriel Nemotron 15B, were officially announced during the event.

The AI Control Tower is intended to be a centralized center for governing, managing, and achieving value from ServiceNow and third‑party AI agents, models, and workflows.

AI Agent Fabric is a “communication backbone” for enterprise AI ecosystems, allowing AI agents to work together across tools, teams, and vendors, allowing coordination with partners like Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, Oracle, and more.

McDermott discussed the newly-released Apriel Nemotron 15B with CEO of Nvidia, Jensen Huang.

The open-source reasoning LLM and data flywheel was built by ServiceNow and Nvidia, offering a new reasoning model designed for performance, scale, and cost. It is post‑trained with Nvidia and ServiceNow‑provided data, aiming to deliver lower latency, lower inference costs, and faster agentic AI.

ServiceNow also introduced its new Core Business Suite – an AI‑powered solution which transforms core business processes like HR, procurement, finance, facilities, and legal, connecting employees, suppliers, systems, and data in one place.

On May 6, the company officially introduced ServiceNow University, a tool for community members to upskill through the “science of play in learning”, said to be at the core of the ServiceNow University vision.
“In the age of AI, we have an opportunity to unleash a human renaissance by helping our people reach their full potential, simplify their lives, and focus on the meaningful, innovative work that drives business success,” said Jacqui Canney, chief people and AI enablement officer at ServiceNow.

“The speed of change also demands an agile learning and development approach that focuses as much on how people learn in the flow of work as it does on the right skills people need to thrive. That’s why we designed ServiceNow University to foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptation with our people at the center.”

Knowledge 2025, Day 2: Wednesday, May 7

Day 2 began with a 10AM keynote, which asked the question: where exactly is the AI ‘utopia’ people have been promised?

ServiceNow CPO and COO Amit Zavery explored how artificial intelligence is already transforming work in the here and now.

A second keynote, titled ‘Lead boldly, win together’, took place from 1PM until 2PM. Athletes including Track & Field Olympian Allyson Felix and WNBA All-Star Diana Taurasi spoke at the event, alongside ServiceNow leadership members like President and Chief Financial Officer Gina Mastantuono, and Chief People and AI Enablement Officer Jacqui Canney.

The event explored what elite athletes and business leaders have in common – attributes such as courage, drive, and turning pressure into opportunity.

The mad rush to pick up tickets for the after party then started at 3PM, with an enormous queue winding throughout the venue’s hallways.

News also broke during the conference that ServiceNow would be acquiring Data.World just months after Logik.ai and Moveworks were purchased. The workflow management platform signed an agreement to take over the Texas-based cloud-native data catalog provider.

SVP and GM of data analytics at ServiceNow Gaurav Rewari said that ServiceNow was on the lookout for businesses that could help customers deploy artificial intelligence at scale, and provide more resources to make data “AI-ready”.

Knowledge 2025, Day 3: Thursday, May 8

On Thursday, May 8, the Knowledge Unscripted Keynote took place from 10AM-11AM, with comedians Conan O’Brien and Jessica Williams, along with Vice Chairman of ServiceNow, Nick Tzitzon, discussing how improvisation can help leadership.

This was followed by the CreatorCon Keynote, which kicked off at 3PM. Featured speakers included Thorsten Schafer, Head of IT infrastructure and Operation at Nintendo of Europe SE.

A broad range of senior ServiceNow staff, including Senior Director, Platform Outbound Product Management, Amanda Joslin; Senior Developer Advocates Kirsty Merriam, Lauren McManamon and Earl Duque; Group VP and GM, Creator Workflows App Engine, Jithin Bhasker; and VP, Product Platform, Samir Diwan also spoke at the keynote.

The three days then culminated in a spectacular after party at the Sphere, an iconic Las Vegas landmark, where Leon Bridges and Gwen Stefani performed for Knowledge attendees.

Final Thoughts

Knowledge 2025 was a terrific event to meet people in the ServiceNow community, explore new products like ServiceNow University, and listen to fascinating talks from industry experts. We look forward to next year’s conference.
